We begin by working with pet owners. AfriPaw comes alongside families, builds relationships and teaches them how to care for their pets — breaking the cycle where surrendered pets are simply replaced while the root causes remain.

Programme 01
Mass Sterilisation

Uncontrolled breeding is the root cause of much preventable suffering. Ambassadors go door-to-door, educate owners, secure sign-ups and handle logistics. In partnership with TEARS Animal Rescue and Animal Welfare Society of South Africa, pets are collected, sterilised and returned home the same day.

Education & Veterinary Care

Education is the foundation of everything we do. One-on-one counselling is built into Pet Clinics, Spay Days, Paw Patrol visits and all community engagement — helping owners understand illness, act earlier and prevent repeat harm.

The Afripaw Pet Taxi

A bicycle-drawn cart that safely transports animals to Pet Clinics and Spay Days. The first Pet Taxi drew media attention and was sponsored by Network for Animals.
